What do you like to see in BPEL PM?

As I am not able to put a sticky note on the Oracle BPEL Forums (here) - I thought to do it on my blog, which is google indexed, and will be preserved .. and helps me to keep track of these ideas/wishes.

thank you,
clemens

Per forum entry here - support for default values, defined in the wsdl, or schema.

Example:
<xsd:element name="x" type="xsd:double" default="78.1"/>

A Log Analyzer will do a world of good, to monitor whats going on. This wd help consultants figure out complex issues with greater ease.
Also a "Per-process" log filter would be fantastic, in case the domain logs hold logs for tons of processes - it wd be difficult to interpret the log information without wasting precious time.
The log analyzer should be wholesome in analyzing process execution, SOAP Payload, warn users of WSA issues, transaction related issues, and common user errors that can be interpreted by a certain pattern that can be observed.
Moreover, the analyzer cd be an expert system, or can operate on a set of rules as well, so that new observed patterns can be attributed to certain behaivours within the process(es).

JDeveloper and BPEL Console need to have the FAQ /Help on error messages, rather than googling/reading documents on OTN.

Other items in the wishlist are

a) Ability to undeploy processes from the WSIL Browser in JDeveloper.
b) Model Java class interactions, EJB interactions etc in the Adapter Wizard, similar to File Adapter, DB Adapter etc.

BPEL console and BAM console need to get together someday.

Ability to invoke the BPEL console from within Jdevelop in the IDE.

Simple ui which allows to retry failed BusinessProcess instance, default earlier input to the busineass process, but allowing it to be overriden.

Hi

Is there any way where in I can use my own authentication logic using Oracle DB instead of the user-properties.xml file.

Have you ever used Custom identity Service for authentication.

I have also created a new thread in the Oracle BPEL forum

Awaiting your reply..

Thank You...This would be gr8 help.
